I know for sure that this is an issue with some of the NIS2011 add-in on the outlook 32bit, like anti-spam or antivirus cause when i first load the 32bit of outlook and wait for 5 minutes to load up i got the anti-spam welcome screen which i never got with the 64bit (i assume those features are working only on 32bit and not 64bit thus why i had no problem before as the add-ins were never loading). Due to a needed add-in i had to uninstall 2010 64bit and go to 32bit and now outlook is stuck on splash screen saying 'loading profile' about 5 minutes and then it continues to load and everything is ok from there on.
I had office 2010 64bit installed on the computer and outlook was loading instantly on double-click. Windows 7 64bit fully updated, Norton Internet security 2011 fully updated.
